They had great training processes and were always available to answer questions. I ended up doing actual engineering work rather than lots of intern-type assignments. Their top priority is safety, which it should be since they make cranes for nuclear sites. This meant that my work was always checked and I constantly received feedback on what I was doing.

What I liked
I got a good mix of manufacturing and controls experience while working for them. Also my first real introduction to PLCs.
What I wish was different
I wish that they had been ready to get me started as soon as I arrived.
Advice
Be ready to manage your time well. If you can get your job done efficently and correctly you will be well served. And above all relise you know nothing and those around you will bring you up to speed.
