What I liked

I was able to get great experience within my field. This opportunity gave me the experience to apply a lot of what I learned in school into practice. The facility I was at is amazing, it fosters a great positive and enriching learning environment. I am also grateful for the opportunity to continue working there and start my career as a registered nurse upon graduation.

What I wish was different

I would have started even earlier, this experience was invaluable.

Advice

Everyone should seek out opportunities to find experience outside of the class room. Handshake is an excellent resource, so be proactive in finding out different ways you can use it to leverage your professional carrier.
