ADMISSIONS-INTAKE COORDINATOR 

Night Shift  11:00 PM-7:00 AM  Monday-Friday

Ability to manage a decision tree and crisis calls, ability to effectively gather clinical data to provide to the ACCESS Triage Nurse and Medical staff. Ability to do an effective clinical assessment. Performs various duties related to working with families and referral sources for admission processes. Supports various insurance and financial counseling functions related to ensuring financial payments and follow-up paperwork completion. Works on a rotating schedule to ensure 24-hour coverage in the Intake Department.  

Prefer degree in social work, psychology or Individual with a services related degree. Individual will demonstrate an ability to utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and other hospital specific programs.   Individual should have strong working knowledge of insurance verification, medical necessity requirements for both acute and residential treatment and benefit plans.
