Part-Time Science Teacher
We are seeking a dynamic and mission-oriented part-time Science teacher for 7th and 8th grades. The ideal candidate will bring passion for science, strong classroom presence, and a commitment to integrating faith and learning in a small-school environment. This position includes physical science, life science, and earth science topics.

Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging science lessons aligned to NGSS and diocesan standards
Teach general science and introductory physical, life, and earth sciences
Prepare students for success in high school science through labs, projects, and discussions
Manage a positive and organized middle school classroom
Assess and report on student learning and progress
Incorporate Catholic values and ethical discussions into science instruction where appropriate
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field (required)
Teaching experience at the middle school level (preferred but not required)
Illinois Professional Educator License (or working toward one) required
Commitment to Catholic education and support of school mission
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Passion for teaching adolescents and engaging them in scientific thinking
Collaborate with school faculty and support school-wide events and activities
