Mango Tree Counseling & Consulting (MTCC) is a growing, community-centered group practice dedicated to providing culturally responsive mental health services, with a focus on the AANHPI (Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander) community. Position Summary

The Office Assistant will provide key clerical and outreach support to MTCC’s leadership team. This role is ideal for a student seeking hands-on experience in mental health administration, community engagement, and communications.

Responsibilities

Clerical & Administrative Support

Manage scheduling, filing, and basic office communications.

Assist with preparation of documents, forms, and materials for staff and programs.

Social Media & Communications

Draft and post content on MTCC’s social media platforms.

Help track engagement and suggest creative content ideas aligned with MTCC’s mission.

Community Outreach & Engagement

Conduct outreach to AANHPI communities and organizations.

Establish and maintain contact with external stakeholders and partners.

Support university and student outreach to strengthen relationships with partners.

Programming Logistics

Coordinate logistics for groups, seminars, and community programs.

Assist with registration, reminders, and event communications.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled student (preferred: social work, psychology, communications, or related field).

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.

Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).

Interest in AANHPI communities, mental health, or community engagement.

Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working independently and in teams.
