Analytical Chemist Intern

Duration: 3–4 months, Internship
Role: Analytical Chemist.
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Analytical Chemist Intern to join our R&D/Analytical Development team. This internship will provide hands-on experience in laboratory techniques, analytical instrumentation, and data analysis, supporting ongoing R&D projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, analysis, and testing of samples using standard analytical techniques like HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, colorimetry etc.
- Support day-to-day analytical development related activities under supervision.
- Maintain accurate and organized laboratory notebooks, data records, and documentation in compliance with GLP/GMP standards.
- Prepare mobile phases, buffers, and standard solutions for analytical use.
- Perform basic laboratory maintenance such as calibration, cleaning, and inventory of instruments/chemicals.
- Collaborate with senior scientists to troubleshoot and optimize analytical procedures.
- Participate in team meetings and present findings when appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s (must be graduating in 2026) or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field with at least a GPA 3.0
- Basic understanding of analytical chemistry principles.
- Some Familiarity with laboratory safety practices and general lab techniques is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) preferred.
