ReadySet Surgical is a healthcare technology company that streamlines surgical workflows by connecting hospitals, vendors, and patients through our innovative platform. We’re a collaborative, fast-moving team passionate about improving surgical patient care.
We’re seeking a Software Engineering Intern to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio (primarily in-person) for the Summer 2026. This is a paid, full-time (40 hours/week) position lasting about 3 months, with potential for a full-time offer upon graduation.
This position is based at our Cleveland office to give you maximum exposure to mentorship from our team of talented, driven engineers, and to help you build strong connections and skills through hands-on collaboration.
As an intern, you’ll play an integral role in advancing our web application and building integrations between our platform and critical healthcare systems, such as Electronic Health Records (EHRs) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. You’ll gain hands-on experience across the full stack, contributing to backend API development, building user-friendly front-end interfaces, and developing integrations that help improve surgical workflows.
Our tech stack includes:
- MySQL database
- .NET C# backend & APIs
- TypeScript/React front-end
Responsibilities:
- Develop new, full-stack functionality across our platform, from backend APIs to intuitive user interfaces
- Build integrations with hospital systems and vendors to streamline surgical workflows
- Fix bugs and improve system stability
- Enhance monitoring and automated testing of our platform
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least two years of undergraduate coursework in Computer Science or related major
- Experience with object-oriented programming
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic about learning new skills and technologies
- Able to research and solve complex problems independently
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with C# or Java
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, or other web technologies
- Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL)
Additional Details:
- Compensation: $20–25/hour, commensurate with experience and coursework completed
- Duration: About 3 months, May-August depending on your academic calendar
- Location: Cleveland, Ohio (primarily in-person to maximize mentorship and learning opportunities)
