Behavior Technician
Job description
- Must have a high school diploma at a minimum, bachelor’s degree preferred with coursework in behavior analysis or other related fields.
- Complete 40 hours Registered Behavior Technician, preferable but not required upon hire.
- Maintain recertification of RBT training annually preferable but not required upon hire.
- Complete all necessary Medicaid Waiver training and documents.
- Must Be able to pass as a Background screen
Job Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Receive training on Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) for each consumer on their caseload.
- Implement FBAs as written.
- Provide services to consumers based on hours set by the Behavior Analyst and Clinical Supervisor.
- Collect data on a daily basis and provide it to the Clinical Supervisor on a weekly basis.
- Communicate regularly with the Behavior Analyst and Clinical Supervisor
- Train caregivers to implement the FBAs.
- Implement the FBA in all relevant settings.
- Attend meetings regarding consumer behavior services as necessary.'
