About the Role

• Travel across the country to meet athletic trainers and athletic directors face-to-face and introduce them to Headquarters Health.
• Serve as a brand ambassador, field salesperson, and community builder while allowing the road to take you across America.
• Own school relationships on the ground, driving momentum, capturing interest, and coordinating next steps with our founders, engineers, and clinicians.

What You'll Do

• Develop strategic multi-city and multi-state travel plans to maximize territory coverage and school visits.
• Identify pain points and opportunities for what our engineering team should be building next—you'll be the strategic bridge between our customers and product roadmap, directly influencing what we build.
• Schedule and conduct in-person meetings with athletic trainers, athletic directors, and coaches at 5 schools each day.
• Deliver concise 30 minute walkthroughs of our concussion-care tools and followup with the school staff to answer any questions or concerns.
• Host happy hours and brunches, attend behind-the-scenes sporting events and present at local athletic events.
• Share wins and field insights with the founders, while innovating on new outreach scripts and tactics.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and presentation skills with proven ability to read a room and adapt messaging to different audiences.
• Experience organizing and hosting in-person events (happy hours, presentations, community gatherings).
• High emotional intelligence with confidence striking up conversations with new people daily.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills with a warm, friendly presence. Native English speaker.
• Highly reliable, self-motivated, and savvy with squeezing value out of ChatGPT-style AI tools.
• Able to represent a healthcare brand responsibly.
• Excitement about traveling 250+ days per year and living a mobile lifestyle.
• U.S. work authorization and a valid driver's license.

Bonus

• Former collegiate athlete (D1/D2/D3) or experience in high school sports culture.
• Background in hospitality roles such as flight attendant, boutique fitness studios (Barry's, SoulCycle, F45, OrangeTheory), luxury hotels, high-end retail (Lululemon, Apple Store), or other customer-facing roles where you built rapport quickly.
• Experience in performing arts, Greek life, or structured outreach where you were comfortable being "on" and reading a room.
• Adventure industry background (NOLS, Outward Bound, climbing gyms, raft guides) or experience with vanlife, digital nomad lifestyle, or seasonal resort work.
• Teach For America or AmeriCorps alum who understands school culture and is mission-driven.
• Military brat or former enlisted who is comfortable with mobility, structure, and walking into new environments.

Schedule

• 90% travel with daily in-person school visits and follow-up communications.
• 10% time spent with the rest of the team in San Francisco.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $65,000–$150,000 in total compensation (base + performance bonuses + equity), with all travel expenses fully covered
• Work Location: Remote with nationwide travel
