Exercise Science/Pre-PT Internship

Our growing, privately-owned physical therapy and wellness company would like to bring on a Pre-PT/Exercise Science Intern for Summer 2019. The successful candidate will be enrolled full-time in a major university or college and studying Pre-PT, exercise science, kinesiology, nutrition, or equivalent degree. We are looking for a driven, ambitious individual who wants to create a career in healthcare. We provide extensive training, guidance and support, as well as the opportunity to experience the industry from the inside and gain valuable work experience. College credits and a flexible schedule available!

·     Assist with development and implementation of rehabilitation and performance protocols under the direct supervision of a licensed physical therapist

·     Assist with tracking of outcome measures and statistical/performance data

·     Monitor latest research for trending news and industry changes

·     Inservice presentation required under the direct supervision of a physical therapist

·     Assist with office management tasks

·     Experience in service or healthcare industry preferred

·     Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program required

·     Familiarity with industry research and research strategies

·     Flexible work schedule

·     Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly

·     Interest in the healthcare industry, fitness, and sports
