Merchant Services Specialist-INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Seeking motivated students of ALL majors who are interested in developing professional skills with a Financial Services company, BP Global Merchant Services. This internship program will give students the opportunity to increase business acumen, grow technical and professional skills, and receive hands-on coaching and training from managers. Interns will receive extensive training and apply academic learning with life experiences to support individual career aspirations. Students will benefit from the flexibility of the work schedule allowing them to focus on other commitments during the summer. ***This Internship program is a PAID program that will last 8 weeks, with the potential to extend (and potentially advance to a full time role) upon completion. ***
Specific duties/responsibilities will include:
· Actively network and prospect new business opportunities
· Assist in the end-to-end onboarding process of new merchants including introductory meetings, training sessions, and troubleshooting issues during onboarding
· Conducting rate analyses for client presentations
· Actively listening in on meetings with prospects/clients
· Organize action items and any follow-ups with merchants
· Manage merchant requests to ensure they are addressed and completed in a timely fashion
· Regularly conduct calls with prospects/centers of influence
· Identify any operational enhancements needed across merchant relationships and work with managers to have them implemented
· Support managers that oversee large accounts in completing work for those clients
Qualifications:

- Microsoft Office: Strong excel and presentation building skills
