RNWBL is seeking a highly motivated technologist eager to work at the forefront of renewables, technology and software development, and help lower the cost of energy.
Job Responsibilities
Identify, ideate, automate, and design solutions for internal users, colleagues, and clients.
Support the development, go to market, and execution of multiple stealth commercial software apps (one of which currently publicly available on App/ Google Play Stores)
Support and assist in the development of custom and commercial software efforts, users, and strategic partners.
Take ownership of user experience from end to end, identify opportunities to delight and provide users with solutions and self-service tools, automating tedium and back office support to empower a 24/7 business
Assist the technology team, CTO, and senior management in identifying impactful opportunities to build, leverage, and grow our technology offerings
Support field, engineering, and back office personnel in productivity improving initiatives to implement, maintain, and custom develop software
Work with internal functional departments to roll out, drive engagement, and improve user satisfaction
Leverage internal logging and analytics to define, refine, and drive high level and actionable KPIs
Collaborate across company and clients to constantly improve efficiency and processes
Work alongside technology team to prepare investor, internal, and board materials highlighting success, opportunities, areas for improvement, and triage priorities by compliance, rate of return, and potential to delight
Competencies
Strong understanding of core systems, integration efforts, designing databases, and engaging users
Knowledge of software design practices a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desire to take initiative and work closely with colleagues
Intellectually honest, self-starter, and ability to prioritize by return on time and investment
Be comfortable being uncomfortable. We move very fast, folks who are confident in their ability to solve problems, even in new areas or domains are highly preferred
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, take ownership of problems to deliver for users, and carry out responsibilities with a sense of urgency.
