Utilities & Incineration Co-Op

We are a global chemical company and one of the nation's leading manufacturers of agricultural products. Our Hannibal plant is built to manufacture high-quality products in a safe, efficient, and environmentally sound manner. We occasionally have the need for contingent labor, and that's where you come in.
We’re currently seeking high-performers to work at our Utilities and Incineration Process Unit with an experienced Engineer Mentor who will guide your daily responsibilities on a variety of assignments.
Your planned assignments include:
·        Major Projects
o   Mass Balance: Develop a mass balance for Incineration. Integrate this with compatibility study documentation for analysis of normal vs. abnormal chemical waste.
o   Field Surveys: Complete field surveys of PPE identification, environmental LDAR tagging, and relief device (i.e. PSV/VSV) testing. Communicate deficiencies. Coordinate with responsible groups for deficiency correction and verification.
o   Training Modules: Collaborate with operating team to continue updating training modules as needed.
·        Minor Projects
o   P&ID Walkdown: Verify P&ID accuracy in operating unit. Update P&IDs accordingly.
o   Reports: Complete routine reports on nitrogen and other raw material usage. Investigate deviations for correction.
o   pH probe Compliance: Collaborate with a multi-functional group to develop a process to increase sustainability of pH control within Utilities & Incineration.
  • Complete an end-of-summer presentation to summarize experience.
·        Note: Projects are subject to change based on operational needs.
To qualify for this role you must have the following:
·        Required: Mass Balances Course
·        Preferred: Experience developing Excel macros (VBA scripting)
This job pays an hourly wage for a 40-hour week, depending on your years of work experience and school completion, plus an additional housing stipend for each month.
