Research Laboratory Technician - Biochemistry and Cell Biology

Dartmouth College, an Ivy League Institution located in Hanover, New Hampshire, seeks an enthusiastic, energetic, and responsible junior scientist to join the Department of Biochemistry as an entry-level Laboratory Technician, investigating the molecular basis of infectious prion diseases. We are especially looking to hire an individual who displays exceptional scientific curiosity, enjoys independent work, and seeks a long-term career as a Research Assistant. The successful candidate will be a careful and conscientious laboratory worker who possesses excellent determination, patience, and creativity.

This position requires outstanding math, logical problem solving, record keeping, and communications skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of constituents, including graduate students, the principal investigator, and other colleagues.
