Enhance your brand strategy skills by executing engagement projects with GenZ consumers.


Overview


This experiential learning program has been designed by Paragon One in collaboration with HUGO BOSS to offer talented students an opportunity to develop and showcase their creative problem solving and critical thinking skills by working on real work projects. 

During the program, externs will conduct primary research and detailed analysis of consumer sentiment surrounding the HUGO BOSS brand, as well as research the latest retail and shopping trends, and provide insight into various marketing strategies adopted by competing brands. Based on their research, students will provide strategic recommendations to increase customer acquisition and engagement.




The Experience


Through this externship, you will have the opportunity to impact HUGO BOSS’ engagement of GenZ consumers by enriching marketing campaigns and messaging and strengthening brand expression and strategy.

During this externship you will:

  • Familiarize yourself with the vision, mission, and brand philosophy of HUGO BOSS, terms and concepts in branding and marketing, and macro trends about GenZ behavior
  • Conduct primary customer research with Gen Zers to evaluate perceptions of generate unique insights on GenZ’s response to HUGO BOSS’ brand expression and strategy 
  • Generate unique insights about what the new generation of consumers signals for the future of brand purpose
  • Conduct comparative analysis with brand competitors to evaluate their position and engagement strategies with Millennial and GenZ audiences
  • Contribute to the development of strategies to increase omnichannel traffic (retail stores and online) by the target demographics
  • Create a concise presentation highlighting insights from your research and providing data-driven recommendations on how HUGO BOSS can market to GenZ and the younger generation. 




Qualifications


We are seeking ambitious undergraduate and graduate students with a strong interest in branding strategy, marketing, luxury retail, and consumer insights. Students with backgrounds in marketing, business, and communications are highly encouraged to apply.
Rolling start dates
The start date for this Externship is rolling and students will be evaluated on a first come first serve basis. Applications will close when the Externship is full.
Part-time and fully remote
This Externship is a 10-hour-per-week fully remote experience where all meetings and events are recorded.
Receive your start date with your acceptance letter
This remote Externship will last 8 weeks.
Required Academic Standing
This Externship is open to undergraduate students and graduate students.
Geographical Eligibility
This Externship is open to applicants all around the world.

How a Remote Externship Works






Application Process


After sending in your application, we'll reach out if we think you're a good fit. You'll send in a "Get to Know You" video and then participate in a live interview.





Week 1: Onboarding


During the first week of the program, you'll be setting goals for what you want to achieve in the upcoming weeks and familiarizing yourself with the industry, our platform, and your cohort.





Weeks 2-5: Research & Analysis


During the regular programming of the Externship, you will receive training and complete projects through our student platform. These exciting weeks are filled with weekly meetings, company meetings, student-led workshops, and virtual events like speaker series and networking sessions.





Present to Host Company


Top students will be selected to present their projects and findings to company leads and other senior leadership.
