Tennis Camp Counselor
What you’ll be doing
As a Tennis Counselor, you will instruct and engage campers in tennis lessons and games based on varying ages and abilities. In this role, you will bring your expertise and experience in Tennis to help campers grow and develop their skills.
What we need from you
- Develop and deliver engaging tennis programming based on various developmental levels, skills, and competence.
- Plan and facilitate small and large group games.
- Teach basic tennis fundamentals through advanced skills to campers.
- Supervise and support campers and ensure safety, development, growth, and general well-being.
- Ensure campers and staff follow all safety measures inside of the courts.
- Assist in the management and cleanliness of the tennis courts and equipment. Communicate and collaborate with other camp staff members to facilitate positive camper experiences.
What skills & experience you’ll bring to us
- Proven experience in playing tennis.
- Desire to work and inspire children in a camp environment.
- Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced camp environment.
- High level of responsibility and accountability.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Physical ability to lead activities for 6 to 8 hours per day.
- Displays an energetic and positive personality.
