Content Developer and Strategist

G&A
It all starts with the story. As Content Strategist, you’ll help lead the discovery and development of that story for clients that range from renowned museums to universities and corporations. You’ll listen closely and facilitate workshops to determine what a client wants to become. You’ll read, watch and explore to suss out the most important messages and stories and how to organize them. And you’ll boldly imagine how to bring those stories to life with a team of multidisciplinary designers.

Location:
Multiple Locations / New York City / Washington, D.C. / Portland

Core Responsibilities
  • Work with the internal design team and clients to develop a guiding interpretive strategy and conceptual approach for projects
  • Help organize client workshops that explore key themes, messages, and storylines 
  • Collaborate with the design team on mapping physical and digital interpretive experiences to the available exhibit space
  • Lead content research analysis and formation of content outlines and media matrices
  • Collaborate with the design team and clients to identify, collect, and organize images, artifacts, and other supporting exhibit assets

Qualifications/Experience
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in the production process for physical exhibits and media experiences
  • A team player working closely with colleagues from other capabilities in an iterative and collaborative process
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Comfort and skill writing in a variety of styles (for different storytelling techniques, for pitches, for client decks)
  • Comfort presenting work to clients
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
