Executive Fellowship – Job Description
Overview
The Executive Fellow will play a pivotal role in providing essential, high-level support to the Management Team of The Mindful Arts. This position presents an exceptional opportunity to gain insight into the operations of a rapidly expanding, impact oriented business and movement.

Participate in many aspects of the business:
- Strategic Partnership Development: Spearhead efforts to identify and forge strategic partnerships with like-minded organizations, leading wellness practitioners, and influential voices in the industry. Cultivate and maintain these relationships to amplify The Mindful Arts' mission;
- Fundraising & Sponsorship Development: Drive fundraising initiatives by identifying and cultivating relationships with potential sponsors, donors, and investors. Perform targeted outreach, craft compelling proposals, and actively engage in securing financial support to fuel the growth and impact of The Mindful Arts;
- Program Development: Assist in designing and refining wellness programs and retreats, with a focus on tailoring each offering to meet the unique needs of diverse stakeholder groups, including large corporations and individuals. Collaborate on the creation of innovative curricula that ensure transformative impact, align with The Mindful Arts' vision, and resonate with the specific goals of each client;
- Impact Measurement & Management: Help develop metrics and tools to assess the impact of our programs, ensuring continuous improvement and effectiveness;
- Marketing Strategy: Contribute to refining and enhancing marketing materials, ensuring they compellingly convey The Mindful Arts' mission, vision, and value proposition. Additionally, design and implement a strategy to build and engage a vibrant community on social media, amplifying our message and expanding our reach to a global audience;
- Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of workshops, retreats, and large-scale events;
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct research on wellness trends, emerging mindfulness practices, and target customer segments. Identify potential partnerships and key customer demographics to inform the development of programs and strategic initiatives, ensuring The Mindful Arts remains at the forefront of the industry and effectively reaches its intended audience;
- Content Creation: Produce impactful content for social media, newsletters, and other platforms;
- Administrative Tasks: Provide general support for day-to-day operations, including scheduling, communications, and logistical coordination;
- Innovative Problem-Solving: Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop creative solutions for challenges faced by The Mindful Arts in achieving its global mission.
- Develop business development pipeline for partners and sponsors;
- Tech & Tools Optimization: Continuously explore and implement innovative technologies and tools to streamline operations, enhance productivity, and support the seamless execution of The Mindful Arts' initiatives;
- Community Engagement: Design and implement targeted strategies to actively engage diverse global communities, including both large corporations and individual participants;
- Special Projects: Participate in special projects and tasks as they arise.

- Relevant Academic Background: Possession of, or current pursuit of, a degree in a relevant field such as wellness, psychology, business, or communications.

Compensation:
- This fellowship requires a commitment of 20 hours per week. The Mindful Arts offers a flexible, collegial work atmosphere with numerous opportunities for professional growth. This is an unpaid internship, focusing on providing invaluable learning experiences and connections rather than financial compensation. It offers opportunities to develop practical skills, gain industry insights, and build professional networks essential for future career growth. There is no guarantee of employment, but as opportunities arise, fellows will be considered.

- Jacques-Philippe Piverger, Co-founder
Jacques-Philippe Piverger is co-founder of the Mindful Arts, which is the culmination of 40+ years of training. Separately, he is Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Unified State Group, a holding company with operations across sectors and geographies such as USA, Middle East and Africa united under a common banner to deliver financial and social returns. Jacques-Philippe has co-created and scaled a wide range of enterprises including MPOWERD Inc., GoodLight Capital, and The Council of Urban Professionals. Jacques-Philippe developed his business acumen in the finance world, most notably as Director at AIG Investments and PineBridge Investments, where he participated in over $10 billion of real estate, private equity, and venture capital transactions. He has been recognized by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader and by the Council on Foreign Relations as a Term Member. He has also served as a board member of the New York Economic Development Corporation's Build NYC and the Industrial Development Agency. He is Vice Chair of the Alliance for Collective Action which convenes leaders of environmental and social movements to advance solutions for a thriving planet. Jacques-Philippe holds a bachelor's degree from Georgetown University and a Master of Business Administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. He has three children, Soleil, Jacques-Maxime, and Añjoli.
- Anne-Christin Gimme, Co-Founder
Anne-Christin is an impact investment professional, entrepreneur, and founding member of The Mindful Arts. She is dedicated to creating and supporting high-impact DEI and wellness solutions that advance holistic well-being for all. At Known, she oversees investor relations for the Known/Living Cities Catalyst Fund III, having previously supported the development of Living Cities’ third fund. Her experience spans a Big Four accounting firm, private equity, real estate investment firms, a global tech leader, seed-stage startups, angel networks, and an early-stage venture capital fund focused on gender and social equity. Anne-Christin played a key role in scaling startups like Essen ohne Kohlenhydrate, where she and her brother built a community of over 1 million members and sold proprietary products to 300,000+ customers. At Echo (formerly Audacity Labs), she served as founding member and CFO, leading the lean-startup cohort. She also developed a platform to democratize alternative medicine. Anne-Christin holds an MBA with a concentration in Investment Finance and a Management Science and Technology certificate from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. During her time there, she served as co-president of the Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital Club (EVCC), closely collaborating with investor groups, entrepreneurs, and faculty.
