Patient Care Coordinator

Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) Job Description

M3 Physical Therapy is looking for an enthusiastic and forward thinking individual to join our team. Our clinic has served the rehab needs of this community for over 30 years. We are looking for a front office receptionist (PCC) to complete a variety of administrative tasks related to billing, data tracking/entry, answering phones, collecting payments and scheduling patient appointments. This will start as a part time position during training and then become full-time position.

Patient Care Coordinator Job Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling patients – both new evals and follow ups
  • Reminder calls / texts
  • Calling Doctors’ offices to collect patient documents
  • Calling patients to obtain information / schedule
  • Patient Authorizations
  • Patient related paperwork
  • Letting Director of Operations know of any issues that arise
  • Handling Patients with problems / objections related to scheduling or money (insurances)
  • Collecting Patient Payments at time of visit
  • Occasional help with modality set ups (hot / cold packs / electric stem)
  • Other miscellaneous tasks related to the front desk and administrative
  • Communicate with the Aides and Therapists on any patient related topics they need to know

Looking for a part time PCC to work 2 days a week - Tuesday's 8 am -  2pm and Thursday's 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
