Summary:
Shamrock Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Lab Intern to join our team for the summer. This internship provides a hands-on opportunity to work in a laboratory setting alongside experienced chemists, contributing to research and development initiatives. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, possesses strong communication skills, and is prepared to explore new and established materials in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist chemists in the product development laboratory with research, testing, and analysis.
- Conduct experiments and analyze results under moderate supervision.
- Collaborate with team members to explore new materials and product formulations.
- Present project findings and ideas to management in a professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of laboratory work and follow safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering.
- Completion of the following courses: Chemistry I & II, Organic Chemistry I.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
