Global Strategic Marketing Intern

Job Scope

You will contribute by delivering key tasks and projects that provide to our broader mission of the organization, and how we have an impact on patients' lives. As an Intern of Diasorin, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with fellow interns, and employees through various onsite and offsite activities! You will also be able to gain industry knowledge that will aid in your professional development, while showcasing your learnings and accomplishments to Senior leaders and fellow colleagues.

Global Strategic Marketing stands upstream of the Product Development and Sales Teams. Our goal is to understand key customer needs and market trends then translate those needs to product concepts to build or acquire.

 

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist in supporting business operations through assigned duties under Diasorin staff supervision.
  • Shadow and network with employees on cross-functional teams to gain an understanding of overall company concept including the Diasorin brand, customers, product lines/goals and all other aspects of service.
  • Provides ideas to grow and improve the business. Participates in department meetings and connect points.
  • Participates in designated, business-focused projects to research, propose ideas and solutions and present a final Capstone project at the end of the internship.

 

Additional Responsibilities and Duties

  • Global Strategic Marketing Intern will complete diagnostic and life science market research, assessments and market modeling to drive new product development.
  • The capstone project will feature assessing new product opportunities and developing a business case for delivery to our cross-functional team.  

 

Education, Experience, and Qualifications 

  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in progress required. Currently enrolled in a University or College Program that is accredited. Preferred Area of Study: Biomedical or Bioscience major with Economics or Business related minor OR Business or Financial related major with Biomedical or Bioscience minor
  • Capable of working and communicating within a multi-site environment both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical skills to access publicity available company financial statements and press releases 
  • Excellent Knowledge of
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, Power Point)
    • Attention to Detail without losing site of the big picture
    • Being A Team Player
    • Operating with Professionalism

The hourly posting for this position is $20.00 Hourly. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. Beyond base salary, Diasorin offers a competitive rewards package focused on your overall well-being.
