Independent Life Care Services, Inc. (ILCS) is a Regional Center of Orange County vendor dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities to live independently and thrive in their communities. We’re looking for compassionate, reliable, and patient caregivers to join our team and provide one-on-one support to our Supported Living and Independent Living clients in their homes and communities throughout Orange County.

Staffing Ratio:
Supported Living Services are of a personal nature and are provided on a 1:1 basis to ensure our clients receive individualized and attentive care.

Job Responsibilities:
• Provide personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily living tasks.
• Support meal preparation, cooking, cleaning, and shopping.
• Accompany clients to medical and other community appointments.
• Assist with medication monitoring and individual needs based on each client’s care plan.
• You may assist clients with completing applications for services such as food stamps, Social Security benefits, housing voucher rental assistance applications, and Medi-Cal/Medicare benefits.

Who We’re Looking For:
We welcome caregivers of all backgrounds. Seniors and students in social work, nursing, psychology, or related fields are strongly encouraged to apply. Bilingual individuals who speak Vietnamese and Spanish are also encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:
✔ Caring, reliable, responsible, trustworthy, and patient.
✔ Ability to speak, read, and write basic English.
✔ Experience caring for or helping others (paid or unpaid, including family members).

Employment Criteria:
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance (for drivers).
• Ability to pass a drug screen, TB screening, and DOJ background check.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid certification (cost covered by ILCS).

Compensation: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour DOE starting pay.
