Finance Intern
Position Overview: The Finance Intern will support our finance department in various tasks, gaining valuable experience in financial operations within the home health care industry. This role offers an excellent opportunity to apply academic knowledge to real-world scenarios, develop professional skills, and understand the financial dynamics of a health care agency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and analyzing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by collecting relevant data and performing variance analyses.
- Conduct research on industry financial trends to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and support various finance-related projects.
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document management as needed.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. If not (which is fine), please demonstrate a basic understanding of financial and accounting principles (this is a must have).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; experience with financial software is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
