Physical Therapy Aide
Adams Sports Medicine is seeking a motivated, dependable, and enthusiastic Physical Therapy Aide to join our growing team. Our aides play a key role in supporting sports physical therapists in the delivery of patient care. This position is ideal for students or recent graduates pursuing a career in physical therapy, athletic training, kinesiology, or a related field.
We work with a wide variety of active individuals and athletes, from youth to professionals, and we’re looking for someone who is either an athlete themselves or has a strong interest in working with the athletic population. Only looking for candidates who are available to work over the summer and can continue into the fall semester.
Responsibilities:
Assist physical therapists with treatment setups, exercise demonstrations, and supervision of patients during prescribed exercises.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including treatment areas and equipment.
Prepare hot/cold packs, wipe down treatment tables, and ensure a safe, clean environment.
Greet and assist patients as they arrive, and support front desk staff as needed.
Monitor inventory and restock supplies when necessary.
Complete clerical work such as data entry, filing, and appointment scheduling assistance
Assist with verifying insurance benefits, entering patient insurance details, and communicating co-pays, deductibles, or out-of-pocket responsibilities as needed.
Support accurate documentation and help ensure proper billing processes are followed.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong interest in healthcare, especially physical therapy, exercise science, or related fields.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable, punctual, and able to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
Ability to take initiative, follow instructions, and work collaboratively as part of a team.
CPR certification (preferred).
Able to commit to a consistent weekly schedule.
